Enterprise Developers Guild is Back Online

The Enterprise Developers Guild website is back up and running (though right now Google will still take you to the temporary site @ Culminis).  They have posted new information on the Code Camp for May 17, and are calling for speakers and volunteers.  Sign up if you are interested! General sign ups are not posted at this time.

User Group Meeting Tips from Raleigh.rb

I attended the Raleigh.rb meeting last night. My interest was twofold, for while I am getting into Ruby, as the president of TriNUG I was interested  in seeing what these guys were doing right in terms of running their meetings, since apparently the group is growing like crazy. I had a good time, and came away with a few things I liked: Pizza Doesn't Define the Group Raleigh.rb meets at 7pm, and food is not provided.  This worked for me, as I didn't have to choose between the meeting and having dinner with my family. Heroes, Continued

Friday, May 2nd, Microsoft is hosting their launch for VS2008/WS2008/SQL2008, alternatively titled "Heroes Happen Here" in Cary. In an awesome coincidence, this is also the day "Iron Man" comes out in theaters. For those that are interested, we will be getting together after the developer track concludes on Friday (~5pm), getting dinner, and going to see "Iron Man", most likely over at Brier Creek Cinemas.  If you are interested in attending, please reply in the comments below. Anyone is welcome to attend - if you can't make it to the developer event, you are still welcome to join us.  Hope to see...

TriNUG April 2008 - Brad Abrams - Mix'08 in 90 Minutes

Wednesday, April 9, Brad Abrams will be presenting at the TriNUG main meeting, at ECPI's campus in North Raleigh.  Brad will be giving a talk informally titled "Mix '08 in 90 minutes".  Brad will be discussing the newest developments on Silverlight, ASP.Net MVC, and other technologies from Microsoft. To welcome Brad back to NC ( he graduated from NCSU), our awesome sponsors for this month's meeting, FarPoint,  are treating us to a BBQ feast. To ensure there is enough for everyone, anyone attending must register through the TriNUG site.
